There are several materials we have found helpful for quizzing.

The first one is a Scripture portion of the year's material printed by WBQA. They are pocket-sized and are great for carrying around with you wherever you are so you can study anytime. By owning a pocket portion, you will also prevent wear-and-tear on your Bible, and will ensure that you are using the right version of the NIV translation. They are available for $1.00 from WBQA.

Another thing we use during practices is the WBQA question book. This is a large collection of various WBQA-type questions from the material. In the back are the specialty questions (refrence, memory, situation). Several families have found it useful to invest in the question book, and if you are interested in memorizing a type of specialties for WBQA tournaments, this is where you'll find them.

CRAB Quizzing follows the rules outlined in the WBQA rule book. It is helpful to be familiar with at least the general rules because they will come up during the year. We suggest you at least scan them so you are aware of the basics and will know what people are talking about during quizzing and especially contests.

Rochester quizzing has their own rule book. They are very similar to WBQA, but there are a few slight differences such as bonus points. You can download these rules using Adobe Acrobat Reader.

During quizzes, scores are kept on scoresheets which are usually provided at the quiz meet or tournament. However, if you would like extra copies or need some for CRAB practices, you can download them using Adobe Acrobat Reader. You will notice that the Rochester and WBQA scoresheets are different, so you can pick which one you prefer.
